Client: Sustainable Swimwear Brand, Los Angeles
The client, a luxury swimwear brand with a strong ethical stance on sourcing and manufacturing, came to me facing a significant challenge: they had an engaged follower base but were experiencing almost no interaction on their social media content. Despite their product being of high value due to the quality and ethical integrity of their process (manufacturing in a location the founder is personally connected to), they struggled to differentiate themselves in a crowded market and lacked a strategy to drive real engagement.
To address this, I developed a social media strategy with a focus on personal branding, emphasizing the founder's story and the brand’s core values—sustainability, ethics, and quality. The goal was to create authentic, engaging content that resonated with their audience on a personal level. I also took the lead in creative direction for their content shoots, ensuring the visuals were optimized for social media platforms, not just for e-commerce, which required a more dynamic and engaging approach.
Results:
A 400% increase in post engagement
Significant growth in website activity and customer interest
A strengthened community around the brand, fostering long-term loyalty
This approach not only boosted their social media metrics but also helped solidify the brand’s unique positioning in the market.
Feed example - We focused on an organic approach with interesting posts for the new follower or page visitor to traverse and explore when discovering the page. Whilst a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing feed is important, and we ensured that this was achieved, we decided to intentionally focus more on ensuring that the pieces of content are all jam-packed with entertainment and value.
