AI-powered telemedicine application

Leany

Leany Lean Ventures

Challenge When MentalMe came to Leany, the platform was already live — but facing three major roadblocks: noticeable slowness in key user flows, unintuitive journeys that complicated the day-to-day experience for psychiatrists, psychologists, and patients, and most critically, a rigid data architecture that made product evolution nearly impossible. The challenge was twofold: improve the existing experience while enabling a robust roadmap of new features — all without disrupting the service for its active user base.
What We Did We became MentalMe’s dedicated tech partner in a continuous product evolution journey. We started with a Product Discovery cycle, mapping the journeys of both specialists and patients, identifying real bottlenecks, and prioritizing high-impact improvements.
Next, we redesigned the data architecture to ensure scalability and compliance with healthcare privacy standards — including full HIPAA alignment. With the foundations in place, we moved on to a complete UX redesign. Using Figma, we prototyped new interfaces, tested them with groups of professionals, and iterated each detail until we achieved a seamless flow for appointment scheduling, electronic health records, and e-prescriptions.
In parallel, we began refactoring both front-end and back-end systems — maintaining the Bubble core while introducing new performance layers using FlutterFlow and Dart. The evolution of V1 was delivered in continuous waves. First, we stabilized and optimized core features like scheduling, health records, psychiatric assessments, chat, and digital prescriptions.
Then came a wave of innovation: – Automatic transcription of consultations and personalized electronic records per professional – A psychiatry-trained chatbot for real-time support – A smart notification engine to reduce no-shows and delays – Subscription plans and billing features that opened new monetization paths

Results Today, MentalMe runs on a stable infrastructure with a modern user experience and the capacity to scale rapidly. Mental health professionals can book appointments in seconds, document records with less effort, and rely on smart tools for in-session and post-session support. For MentalMe, this means a platform ready to grow in users, recurring revenue, and clinical relevance.
