City of Thorn (Interactive Application)

I collaborated with Cityscape Digital, a leading digital agency in London, as a UI/UX Designer for their client Thorn Lighting. The “City of Thorn” project aimed to create a 3D city showcasing Thorn Lighting’s products in real-world settings, tailored to their industries. The application allowed users to navigate a virtual city, interact with products in situ, and explore detailed product information.

The first version was designed for use on a flat-screen TV at the Light + Building event in Frankfurt, where it was a resounding success. Building on this, I optimized the application for a desktop web app, and later adapted it for mobile web to provide a seamless experience across all platforms.
The result is a polished, interactive, and versatile application that effectively demonstrates Thorn Lighting’s innovation and expertise. The desktop and mobile web applications are now available at cityofthorn.com, reaching a broader audience and offering an immersive experience to users anywhere, anytime.
