fifthexit | studio site with a built-in project estimator

fifthexit is my web and app development studio. The site had one job that most agency sites avoid: tell a visitor what a project costs before anyone gets on a call.

The problem Agency sites hide pricing behind "contact us." That filters out nobody and wastes everyone's first conversation on budget instead of the project. Visitors leave to go find someone who will just tell them.

What I built A project estimator that takes project type, scope and feature selections and returns a real price range on the spot. The hard part was not the arithmetic, it was deciding how much to reveal. Too vague and it is useless. Too precise and it becomes a quote I am held to.

The rest of the site is built around proof rather than claims: a filterable portfolio where every project links to the live site, because screenshots prove nothing, and a direct booking flow instead of a contact form that disappears into an inbox.

Stack React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite. Deployed on Cloudflare. Designed and built solo, from the brand through to the deploy pipeline.
