Movieday is on its way to becoming the best way to distribute movies and fill in the theatres with the launch of two new products for the movies’ distribution system. Completing the range of products for the three stakeholders that he refers to: distributors, theaters, and moviegoers.

Movieday wants to create a completely digital supply chain for the film industry, that puts technology at the center to create a paradigm shift. A circular value chain that brings together and balances its players (distributors, operators, customers), offering each of them the products and services they need.

I already helped the company in the creation of the platform to make the organization of a screening easier, from both the organizer's and the cinema owner’s point of view.

In 2021 we consolidated the existing products together with a new system that allows the distributors to promote and sell tickets directly to the public with the first Movie-based Direct-ticketing, thanks to which they obtain data and profiled users for targeted marketing and, in addition, independent producers have access to the market that they did not have before.

Cinema owners are in direct contact with producers and distributors to whom they can directly sell cinema slots. A virtual place where cinemas can choose with a click the films to be programmed. In this way, cinemas increase their content offer, their occupancy (fewer empty seats), and therefore their sustainability, and distributors have direct access to theatres by automatically planning a distribution plan based on their needs.

Audiences now can enjoy an unparalleled user experience when buying tickets, saving money, and accessing a richer and more personalized offer. The new ticketing system increases the participation of traditional audiences and increases new audiences (people who did not go to the cinema before), also generating social impact.
