Crimson Educational Video | Refract Group

During my time at Refract Group, a Sydney-based creative agency, I spearheaded the video editing for Crimson Education. The goal was to bridge the gap between high-level academic prestige and modern, engaging content. I translated their complex brand guidelines into a visual language that feels both authoritative and incredibly dynamic.

Phase 1: I started by absorbing the "Crimson DNA" understanding the do’s and don’ts, the target goals, and the specific brand guidelines. I didn't just want to make it look "cool", I wanted it to represent their global value.

Phase 2: Once I had the raw assets, I focused on accuracy. In educational video, every graphic and animation needs to be valid and intentional. I layered in custom typography and motion assets that highlight the most important data points.

Phase 3: Finally, I dialed in the energy with custom SFX and high-tier motion graphics. The result is a video that doesn't just inform but actually sells the vision of the brand, keeping viewers hooked from the first frame.

Working on this through Refract Group allowed me to master the art of "Professional Polish." It taught me how to respect established brand identities while still pushing the creative boundaries to keep things fresh and engaging for a worldwide audience.
