Overview
Identity design, and ecommerce website build for a team of Moms responding to the DadBod phenomenon.
A team of entrepreneurial founders sought to transform their successful blog into a revenue-generating platform. They approached me to create a cohesive brand identity and build a seamless ecommerce website that would allow them to monetize their content while maintaining their focus on writing their column. Leveraging Webflow’s native ecommerce capabilities integrated with Printful dropshipping, the project resulted in a self-sustaining online shop that generates passive income and enables the founders to concentrate on their core mission—equity, ideas, and responding to the “DadBod” phenomenon.
Challenges
Transitioning from a content-only blog to a full-fledged ecommerce platform.
Identifying a scalable and low-maintenance solution for inventory management and order fulfillment.
Goals
Develop a professional, user-friendly website in Webflow that showcases their existing content and mission while driving sales to a new line of merch.
Implement a dropshipping solution to minimize overhead and allow automation of the sales process.
Design a brand identity that reflects their mission and resonates with their audience.
My Approach
Research & Strategy: To identify the best dropshipping solution, I researched various platforms and recommended Printful for its seamless integration with Webflow’s ecommerce system. This choice ensured that the shop could operate efficiently without requiring the founders to manage inventory or shipping.
Brand Identity Creation: I collaborated with the team to design a cohesive brand identity, starting with logo creation and look development. The design emphasized usability, simplicity, and aesthetic appeal, ensuring the mark looked professional while resonating with a diverse audience as it appeared on clothing and other merchandise.
Webflow Website Build: The website was built on Webflow, leveraging its native ecommerce features to create a smooth and engaging shopping experience. Key highlights include:
Custom product pages that align with the brand’s design language.
Seamless Printful integration for automated order fulfillment.
Responsive design for optimal performance across devices.

Merchandise Concepting: I worked closely with the founders to brainstorm and finalize initial merchandise offerings, focusing on women’s clothing and accessories that would appeal to their audience.
Post-Launch Support: Following the launch, I provided ongoing support by creating marketing collateral to promote the new shop and drive traffic to the site.

The dropshipping integration allows the founders to focus on their blog content while the store largely runs itself.
The professional website and cohesive branding establishes trust and encourages audience engagement.
The passive income generated through the shop exceeded initial projections, supporting the founders’ broader goals.
