Overview

Logo design and landing page for a small business bringing BIG flavor to any event with their transportable 8' smoker.
In a fast-paced project fueled by creativity and efficiency, I partnered with Bobby's Big BBQ to design a vibrant brand identity and build a sleek, engaging landing page. The entire process, from brand sprint to development, was completed on a rapid timeline, ensuring the business could start attracting customers without delay. The one-page site not only showcases their portable smoker but also doubles as a clever cross-promotion for WhiskeyNeat—the owners' brick-and-mortar restaurant where the BBQ is featured.
Challenges
Establishing a distinct brand identity for Bobby's Big BBQ while differentiating it from the WhiskeyNeat restaurant.
Designing and developing a website quickly to meet tight deadlines.
Creating a user-friendly experience that highlights their portable smoker and links to the shared location.
Goals
Craft a brand that exudes personality and charm, reflecting the owners’ passion for BBQ.
Build a website that is visually appealing, informative, and functional.
Leverage the site to promote both Bobby’s Big BBQ and WhiskeyNeat restaurant.

My Approach

Brand Sprint: I collaborated with the owners to quickly distill their vision into a cohesive brand identity, focusing on bold typography, playful elements, and a rustic charm that resonates with BBQ enthusiasts.
Webflow Website Build: Designed in Figma and developed in Webflow, the landing page highlights key features, including:
A dynamic SVG map illustrating the various cuts of BBQ for cow and pig, adding a fun and interactive touch.
Clear messaging and CTAs to engage visitors and drive inquiries.
Cross-promotion elements subtly linking to WhiskeyNeat, encouraging users to explore the restaurant.
Custom illustrations
Copywriting: Crafted engaging, personality-packed copy to bring the brand’s story to life and communicate the unique value of their portable smoker.

Results

The brand and website were completed on a tight schedule, enabling a swift go-to-market launch.
The SVG BBQ cut map became a standout feature, sparking conversations and capturing visitor interest.
The cross-promotion strategy seamlessly connected Bobby’s Big BBQ with WhiskeyNeat, boosting visibility for both ventures.

Conclusion

This project demonstrates how thoughtful branding and rapid web development can create a compelling online presence where quick turnarounds don't require you to compromise on quality. If you’re looking for a fast, creative solution to bring your vision to life, let’s connect! 🚀
