Perle is an AI platform providing high quality, scalable, and cost-effective data labeling, annotation, and RLHF. By putting humans front and center and blending their expertise with innovative tech, they are able to generate better outcomes for AI models.

Brief

Create a brand-new identity, visual presence, and comprehensive social media strategy that establishes us as the premiere AI platform for anyone looking to build specialized AI solutions.
Stand out amongst competitors. Today, most of our competitors use the same color palettes, voice, and tone. We want to differentiate ourselves to attract prospective talent (employees and experts) and customers.
Be more approachable. The AI landscape is highly technical and complex. We want to clearly convey what we do and how we’re different in a way that anyone can easily understand. Currently, this space is focused on technical jargon geared toward data scientists, machine learning engineers, researchers, etc.
Become well-recognized & beloved. Kiva AI has big aspirations to be a thought leader, innovator, and a beloved brand. We want to attract top talent and be the number one choice for companies and teams of all sizes looking to collaborate with us.
Perle didn’t come to us as Perle. They came as Kiva.ai—smart team, powerful tech, fuzzy brand. Their product was doing important work in AI and unstructured data, but it wasn’t breaking through. They needed clarity. They needed direction. They needed a story.
So we rolled up our sleeves and did what we do best: dig deep, get strategic, and build something that connects.
The new brand—Perle—captures that essence. It’s elegant, memorable, and metaphorically spot-on: something valuable, surfaced from complexity, with a visual identity to match. From there we built the rest of the brand system: Messaging frameworks. Voice and tone. Iconography. Motion. Every detail designed to feel intelligent, accessible, and human.
