Nike Run Club is a fitness app for runners allowing them to track and record their runs. I worked with Nike to conceptualize what safety means for runners who use the Nike Run Club App. Working closely with my teammates and our Nike clients we worked to understand what safety meant for runners. Together we looked at what best in class safety features currently existed and aligned on what features would best help runners using the Nike Run Club app to feel safer and seen while out on runs. At the end of the project, we delivered a feature that would allow users to share their location with their contacts so that others would be able to keep an eye on them while they’re outside.
