The Uniswap Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to supporting the growth and decentralization of the Uniswap Network. We were approached to to improve the architecture of the documentation site and create a vision for what their developer site could look like. As the Product Design Lead on this project I guided the design process working with several other team members to understand what the existing problems Uniswap was having with their documentation site and creating an approach for how we would solve their problems. By the end of the project we delivered several things. First was a new information architecture making it easier for new and existing developers to find the information they’re looking for. Second was a visual design refresh to get their team and developer community excited about the launch of a new version of their protocol (Uniswap V4). Lastly we created content guidelines that would help their team to write documentation that’s clear and easily understandable by their community.
