TOO YOUNG FOR NIA.
CIDE clothing is a beautifully crafted and ethically produced luxury fashion brand founded by Deshawn “Kenzo” McKenzie. As a freelance graphic designer passionate about cultural narratives, teaming up with CIDE for our tribute to Nia Long was a deeply meaningful experience.
The goal was to create a garment that stamped elegance while honoring Nia’s significant impact on American culture as a whole. Infusing every brushstroke with respect and admiration, I aimed to capture the essence of Nia’s vibrancy.

The blend of brown and pink hues, delicately applied, reflects Nia’s timeless charm and vibrant spirit. I curated a selection of Nia’s most memorable roles, each showing her versatility and influence in the entertainment industry.
It was a passionate journey designing her story into the fabric of our creation. Seeing our tribute resonate across diverse communities and industries was incredibly rewarding. From NBA members to celebrated artists, our homage to Nia Long sparked conversations, inspiration and received recognition beyond financial success, it reaffirmed the importance of representation and inclusivity in fashion.
In conclusion, this project was more than just about design, it was about honoring an icon and celebrating the resilience and beauty of cultural diversity. Through our tribute to Nia Long, we hope to inspire a broader conversation about inclusivity and representation in the fashion industry. I used Adobe Creative Cloud to create these designs.
