Arterial Cross-Section: Pulse Study in Blender

Concept demo made for a brief. Not client work.
Five-second loop: one pulse per second travels outward through the wall
An abstract, top-down visual built from the histology of an artery: concentric tissue layers from the lumen outward, a crimped elastic lamina, smooth-muscle fibers and loose collagen, shot with a shallow depth of field for a sculptural feel. One pulse per second travels outward through the wall, and the 5-second loop has no visible seam.
Everything is procedural in Blender: geometry and materials are built by a Python script, with no image textures. Pulse strength, wave count, sharpness, twist and swell are controls in the project file.
Deliverables in this study: one 3840 x 2160 still, a 1920 x 1080 animation at 24 fps (120 frames), and the editable Blender project file.
Still, 3840 x 2160: the full cross-section from above, lumen to adventitia

Abstract, top-down motion study inspired by the histology of an artery: concentric tissue layers, crimped fibers and a pulse wave that travels outward through the wall. Procedural geometry and materials, one 4K still and a 5-second seamless loop.
