What started as a personal exploration of digital portrait art soon turned into a meaningful journey of storytelling and connection. In March 2022, during the quiet days of lockdown, I began illustrating portraits of celebrities, athletes and public figures - using only my index fingers, without a stylus or advanced tools. To my surprise, these portraits gained recognition and the appreciation I received inspired me to take my art further.

Seeing the impact of my illustrations, I transformed them into animated GIFs, bringing movement and life to my work. I uploaded them on Tenor and Giphy, where they quickly gained traction under the name "JAG Illustrations." This visibility led to countless opportunities- people from all over the world reached out, asking me to create personalized digital portraits for them and their loved ones.

One of the most defining moments in my journey was in 2023, when I illustrated a portrait of my school biology teacher as a token of gratitude. Gifting her that framed artwork made me realize that portraits aren’t just drawings - they are memories, emotions and timeless keepsakes.
