Päästeliit brings Estonia’s volunteer rescue groups together. At EETER, we helped them show what the work really looks like and make it easier for people to support it.

Process and Problem Solving

We visited rescue HQs, spoke with volunteers and joined a fire call. Seeing the work up close changed the brief. The site had to feel direct and credible, not polished from a distance. We gave the existing identity a careful refresh for digital use and made a website with clear routes to donate, join and learn about the work. New visual parts sat alongside the logo rather than replacing what people already knew.

My Role and Contributions

I led the art direction and design. Kärt Koosapoeg’s illustrations and the photography by Jarek Jõepera and Timo Palo helped us show the volunteers as they are: capable people doing difficult work in difficult conditions.
We designed and built a custom WordPress site with templates the association could run themselves. The structure made it easier to find a way in, whether you wanted to help, volunteer or understand what the rescuers do.

Results and Impact

The new site gave support, fundraising and recruitment clearer places to live. The campaigns we made with Päästeliit met or exceeded their fundraising goals. What stayed with me was the time spent with the volunteers. The work needed to show their world honestly and help more people step into it.

At EETER, I led art direction and design for Päästeliit’s identity refresh and website, shaped by time with Estonia’s volunteer rescuers.
