Art & About is the City of Sydney’s platform for temporary art and public exhibitions—an evolving celebration of creativity in public spaces. The rebrand aimed to refine its identity while ensuring flexibility across diverse events throughout the year.

Building on the existing mark, the new system introduces clear hierarchies and dynamic assets designed to adapt seamlessly across different themes and mediums. Two core elements define the visual language: a structured text system and circle-based patterns.

The text system functions beyond typography—it reflects the event’s tone, poses questions, calls to action, and invites engagement. The circle patterns act as modular design tools, forming grids, framing photography, and generating icons and textures. *

This dynamic identity unifies Art & About’s presence—ensures adaptability, keeping the brand fresh, recognizable, and visually relevant to the arts sector year after year.
