ANIMA started as my answer to that gap. Instead of animating icons one by one, I designed the motion first β five procedural primitives (breath, drift, trace, shimmer, morph) driven by parameters β and let every icon inherit it. Change the system, and the whole set moves together. Dial an icon's personality β Calm, Alert, Playful β and it stays coherent with the family, because the variety is generated from shared rules, not improvised per icon. It's the same principle I apply to every brand I work on: design the system, and the surfaces take care of themselves.
