Title: Medical Center Workflow Automation: Reducing Wait Times & Improving Patient UX

Why the client contacted me: A medical center was facing a serious operational challenge. The reception staff was overwhelmed by simultaneously registering new patients and processing lab test data and results. This created long queues, delayed scheduled appointments, and caused growing patient dissatisfaction before they even saw a doctor. The center needed a way to decouple data submission from the front-desk registration process.

My Proposal: I proposed a digital solution to automate data collection. By creating a dedicated, secure portal on their website, I enabled patients to submit their information and upload documents independently, bypassing the physical queue at the reception desk.

Dedicated Patient Portal: I designed a streamlined landing page with clear instructions and a custom-built secure form.

Smart File Uploads: Patients can now quickly enter their details and upload necessary medical documents or test requirements directly from their mobile devices.

QR Code Integration: To make the process even faster, I implemented QR codes placed throughout the medical center. This allows patients to access the form instantly without having to type a URL.

Backend Efficiency: All submitted data is routed to a centralized email managed by a single staff member, freeing up the rest of the reception team to focus entirely on checking in new patients.

Optimized Operations: The reception team was immediately unburdened, which significantly reduced wait times for new registrations.
