Craftyo - Flight booking mobile app

This exploration presents Craftyo, a mobile app designed to simplify flight booking. We focused on creating a streamlined, user-friendly experience for users to search for, compare, and book flights seamlessly from their mobile devices.

Many flight booking apps present overwhelming amounts of information on small screens. Users often struggle with cluttered layouts, hard-to-read text, and a lack of intuitive navigation. Our challenge was to create a mobile app that kept everything accessible, organized, and visually clear.

Aesthetic and Minimalist Design


Interfaces should not contain information that is irrelevant or rarely needed. Every extra unit of information competes with the relevant data and diminishes clarity. In the initial version, the ticket card showed only the airline name, price, and class, but lacked secondary identifiers such as the booking code or ticket number. This absence made the card look visually empty in the top section, and users had to rely solely on the airline name to differentiate similar tickets. The layout felt unbalanced because the left side appeared heavier while the right side contained only the price and class.

In the improved version, a unique ticket number is added underneath the airline name, creating a more complete and balanced header. This additional detail enhances clarity without adding visual noise, giving users an immediate point of reference when comparing multiple tickets. By simplifying the flight booking process with intuitive design, Craftyo allows users to book flights quickly and with confidence. The result is a mobile experience that feels organized, straightforward, and user-friendly, encouraging higher conversion rates for bookings.
