Introduction

Wahtech is a Hong Kong-based OEM toy manufacturer producing premium plush and plastic toys for global export, with certifications from Disney, Infantino, and more. Despite their international reach, their online presence hadn’t kept pace with their reputation, making them harder to find and trust in a digital-first world.

Actions & Impacts

We redesigned Wahtech’s site from the ground up in just 5 days, focusing on speed, clarity, and international credibility. Built in Framer, the site is mobile-first, localisation-ready, SEO-optimised, and includes direct WhatsApp integration for easier buyer communication
Designed to bridge the gap between large-scale manufacturing and fast-moving global clients, the final result is a trusted, multilingual site that not only informs but also brings a smile—showing Wahtech is ready to meet buyers where they are, with a touch of joy along the way.

✨ Adding Delight & Playfulness:

Designed to stop the scroll and spark emotional connection, a family of plush toy characters was crafted to showcase Wahtech’s branding and product excellence. AI-generated with DALL·E, they bring timeless charm and authenticity, strategically integrated into hero visuals and interactive emoji to captivate users in those critical first 8 seconds before they bounce.

Approach

Achieved through three steps to create realistic, consistent, and engaging characters:
Step 1: Surface Realism Textures and materials were carefully considered to ensure a tangible, high-quality feel – from natural knitted fabrics to embroidered details.
Step 2: Scene Control Prompts were crafted to control the overall scene, composition, and styling, ensuring visual consistency and a professional product photography aesthetic.
Step 3: Emotional Depth Subtle emotional cues were embedded within expressions and poses to build warmth and connection, transforming the dolls into characters buyers can resonate with.

Prompt used

A collection of classic and elegant animal plush toys designed for children under 8, inspired by timeless Peter Rabbit illustrations. Includes a bunny wearing striped dungarees, a bunny wearing a pale dress, a fox in a blue tailored coat, a white duck with yellow beak and feet, and a mallard duck with green head. Photographed together in a cosy, light-filled cottage setting with wooden table, wicker basket, and soft neutral background. Natural textures, realistic knitted fabric, button details, high-resolution product photography.”
