About The Project

Overview

Myrecovery.ai, an integrated B2B2C digital health platform, needed a multi-user clinician-facing dashboard and a patient-facing mobile app to enhance pre- and post-operative orthopaedic care. By leveraging motion tracking, gesture recognition, and machine learning, the platform enables remote patient monitoring, allowing clinicians to track recovery progress, improve workflow efficiency, and enhance patient outcomes.

Key Challenges

Orthopaedic clinicians and patients face several workflow and engagement challenges during pre- and post-operative care. The need for a comprehensive digital platform arose to:
Clinicians struggled to prioritise patients, leading to inefficient workload management.
Lack of real-time patient monitoring, requiring manual check-ins and follow-ups.
Unstructured pain tracking, making it difficult to detect critical recovery issues.
Patients lacked clear recovery guidance, reducing app engagement.
Limited insights into patient feedback, preventing improvements in clinical service delivery.
To streamline the recovery journey for both clinicians and patients, a data-driven, interactive dashboard and app solution was necessary.

Patient Mobile App Registration & Onboarding Flow

The MyRecovery app registration flow was redesigned to streamline onboarding and reduce user confusion. Data revealed that 12.7% of users navigated back from login, and 35% mistakenly selected login instead of registering. To address this, the flow was optimised by mapping user journeys, refining the information architecture, and introducing tailored pathways for pre-registered and self-registered users. Key updates included a dynamic authentication system, pre-filled patient details, and personalised onboarding screens, ensuring a seamless experience.

Clinician Dashboard Patient List

User feedback from surgeons, hospitals, and implant companies highlighted the need for a centralised patient list to prioritise care, track recovery, and manage tasks efficiently. The initial design focused on core functionalities like sorting, filtering, and task management, while later iterations introduced dynamic prioritisation, real-time updates, and improved navigation to enhance workflow efficiency. Unmoderated user testing validated usability, leading to refinements that ensured quick data access, intuitive interactions, and seamless clinical decision-making.

Clinician Dashboard Analytics

The Analytics Dashboard provided orthopaedic surgeons with real-time recovery insights, enabling them to track progress, monitor trends, and make data-driven decisions. The homepage featured key clinical metrics to help prioritise workload, while the patient page focused on detailed recovery data such as pain levels and physical activity. These intuitive and data-driven visualisations helped clinicians prioritise tasks effectively, make informed clinical decisions, and tailor patient care to individual needs.
