Fosso is a modern take on the classic Italian café, inspired by Milan’s quieter charm and rich cultural roots. Unlike tourist-heavy spots, Milan’s café life feels intimate — defined by daily rituals, warm conversations, and a timeless sense of elegance. Fosso was created to capture that feeling — natural, casual, and rooted in the local spirit. With a name that hints at depth and grounding, this brand identity brings together history, community, and comfort — all in one cup.

The goal was to design a café identity that feels both stylish and soulful — unmistakably Italian, but not cliché.
 I built the system around: 
 A deep red to reflect passion and warmth. Soil tones for a grounded, organic feel. Rounded and playful type for an inviting personality. Hand-drawn illustrations inspired by Milan’s antique architecture and street details
 Everything from packaging to social media content is designed to feel handcrafted, elegant, and local — just like the café experience itself. 
 Fosso isn't just a coffee shop. It's a quiet celebration of Milanese life.
