Topanga Identity | The natural lanscap

Topanga is the name given to the area by the native American indigenous Tongva tribe. It means " where mountains meet the sea" or"a place above."

"Where the mountain meets the sea," keeping the same root recognition of a place in my mind, I convert it with Topanga Hotel's identity. I made the rounded shape the mountain on a crown batch, and they are pointing to the negative space that I had used as a metaphor for the sea. 

The Rounded curves of the symbol reflect the path, calmness, and joy of a space around the hotel.

The emblem logo embraces the authenticity, authority, and legacy of Topanga.

The pointy diagonal lines at various angles are forcing the user towards the Topanga Hotel.

Every tiny detail was chosen on Purpose to tell the brand story. Whether it is typography, color system, or shape psychology, For the color system: Deep Green -> Mountain greenery -> Growth and calmness of a place. Light Blue -> Mountain Waterfall -> Authenticity -> Tranquility, and trust Pink -> Charm -> Tenderness of a space

I used timeless, bold sans-serif Mono45 typeface to set them apart from the competitors, as the typeface shape is a perfect match for communicating their story, like they believe that they are authentic and trusted by customers.  Strong bold typeface not only makes them stand out, but also reflects Topanga's heavy, strong, and rocky locations 

Inspired by the Topanga State map that made the brand pattern also makes it more functional by guiding the user with the actual Topanga Hotels route direction.

Topanga's curved roads, distinguished trees, mountains, and canyons make the actual Topanga's identity like a pattern flow and forest vibe with small, tiny, dynamic shapes.
