Shpock Royal Mail integration

Project goal The overall objective is to implement a Royal Mail option to offer a better delivery option that will bring trust to the buyers but also a better handling for the sellers to send their parcel.Project goals :- Create a smooth User Experience for both seller and buyer.- Buyer should be able to track his order instead of waiting for a proof of shipping.

Solution I worked on the Royal Mail integration, aiming to improve the delivery experience for both buyers and sellers. Through one-on-one interviews with sellers, we gathered insights on their preferences, which led to a smoother user experience. Challenges included a tight deadline and integration with a corporate entity. My role also involved rapid wireframing and high-fidelity design to expedite the testing process.We conducted beta tests with users and organized unmoderated user testing sessions to validate the Royal Mail flow. The feedback from users helped us refine the integration, making it straightforward and user-friendly.While there were challenges, such as a short timeframe and the need to integrate tracking options, the project resulted in increased user confidence in Royal Mail services.The outcome of our efforts was positive, with users finding the Royal Mail flow simple and efficient, although pricing was a concern for some.

The next steps involve addressing pricing issues, exploring discounts or vouchers to encourage Royal Mail usage, and providing more information about printing and delivery office versus post office options.My role at Shpock allowed me to apply my expertise in user-centered design, problem-solving, and rapid prototyping to enhance user experiences and build trust in the platform.
