I designed FortiFi, a mobile banking app that combines security, simplicity, and control into one seamless platform. Built to serve modern banking needs, the app allows users to manage accounts, cards, and transactions with confidence and ease.

THE WHAT
FortiFi is an all-in-one mobile banking platform designed to:
Show wallet balance and accounts at a glance
Manage multiple cards securely (lock/unlock, monitor activity)
Execute money transfers (send, receive, request) with one tap
Track transaction history with clear details and filters
THE WHY
Traditional banking apps often feel:
Outdated → clunky, hard-to-navigate interfaces
Overly complex → too many steps for simple transfers
Unclear → poor visibility into spending and account security
Untrustworthy → lacking modern trust-building design
FortiFi ’s solution:
Modernized UX with simplicity-first design
High-security tools (lock/unlock cards, encrypted payments)
Real-time transaction tracking with transparency
User-focused design that works across all demographics
THE HOW
Built home dashboard for wallet, cards, and quick actions
Designed transaction flows for sending/receiving money in seconds
Added visual card management → lock/unlock, swap, and view details
Simplified transaction history filtering for clarity
Designed a clean, modern identity with green tones to signal trust, stability, and growth
Conducted usability testing to refine core flows for speed and simplicity
RESEARCH METHODS
Competitor benchmarking → Revolut, Monzo, N26
User surveys on what creates trust in banking apps
Usability tests to validate clarity in transaction confirmations
Security consultations → aligned design with digital banking standards
INTERVIEW INSIGHTS
Users wanted instant clarity on balances & spending
Card security (lock/unlock) was highly valued
Speed of transfers mattered more than extra features

Home Dashboard → balance, cards, quick transfer actions
Cards Module → manage multiple cards with lock/unlock toggle
Transaction List → categorized, clean history with filters
Transfer Flow → one-tap send/receive with instant confirmation
Visual Identity → fresh green gradients, clean typography, modern icons
IMPACT
Increased daily app engagement with simplified dashboard

KEY LEARNINGS
Trust = clarity + control in digital banking
