CISI, the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, needed an engaging and forward-thinking e-learning course to introduce Artificial Intelligence in the financial services industry. The course was part of their CPD portfolio for global finance professionals seeking to stay ahead of digital trends.
The main challenge was designing a course on a technical topic (AI) for a non-technical, compliance-focused audience. The tone had to be informative yet digestible—balancing theoretical knowledge, ethical considerations, and real-world applications of AI in finance.
I developed a SCORM-compliant course in Articulate Storyline, combining expert video segments with interactive slides, illustrated branching scenarios, and compliance-aligned assessments. Visual metaphors, custom icons, and intuitive navigation were used to reinforce retention and reduce cognitive load. Accessibility standards and CISI’s brand guidelines were strictly applied throughout.
The course launched globally and quickly became one of CISI’s top-rated digital modules, praised for its clarity, design, and learner engagement.
