One of the largest niche recruitment platforms in Canada wanted to launch across the US. I led the growth initiative to deliver these results. My work included defining the entire GTM & growth strategy, building teams & systems to implement the strategy, and managing the process.
Recognizing that many of the sub-niches the platform served were close-knit communities, I developed a playbook to break into a market using paid traffic & organic social and immediately build trust through partner & referral marketing. This playbook could the be applied to each sub-niche.
Using a balance of data-driven iteration and user-first ideation, I was able to deliver a hugely successful rollout that allowed the client to raise a major Series A funding round.
