Human-Centered Hire Check-ins System

Project Description: Created a structured check-in system that turned scattered communication into proactive support, catching red flags early, resolving conflicts faster, and strengthening retention.
Challenge: In remote and distributed teams, day-to-day communication gaps between contractors and client companies often went unnoticed until they escalated. Without a structured follow-up system, misunderstandings, conflicts, and misaligned expectations were only identified late, harming both talent performance and client satisfaction.
Solution: My team and I implemented a comprehensive check-in system: personalized touchpoints on Day 1, Week 1, Month 1, and Month 3 (via Slack, video calls, or email), followed by automated surveys every 6 months. This mix allowed for both human support and scalable data collection.
Impact: Enabled early conflict resolution, identified red flags proactively, and provided actionable insights to improve the talent and client experience. Contributed to higher retention rates and healthier long-term relationships.
