Building a Talent Relations Department from Scratch

Project Description: Transformed a recruiting agency’s one-off placements into long-term partnerships by building a Talent Relations department focused on trust, engagement, and continuous feedback.
Challenge: At a recruiting agency specialized in connecting tech professionals with U.S. clients, once a placement was made, the agency’s contact with contractors ended. This created a gap: professionals lacked ongoing support, and the agency missed key insights into their experiences with clients. This lack of follow-up risked trust, retention, and long-term business opportunities.
Solution: I created the Talent Relations department to establish long-term relationships with tech professionals. My team became the main point of contact, offering support, trust, and continuous engagement while also gathering valuable feedback about client environments.
Impact: Strengthened retention, positioned the agency as a people-first partner, and generated insights that improved both client understanding and service quality.
