Improving and Managing a Complete Performance Review Cycle
Project Description: Managed the full performance review cycle, from self-assessment to salary adjustments, creating a transparent, organized, and people-centered process that boosted trust and alignment with company values and across teams.
Challenge: The company needed a structured, reliable way to manage performance reviews and salary adjustments. Previously, evaluations were inconsistent and the process felt disconnected from company values and people’s achievements, creating uncertainty among both managers and team members.
Solution: I improved and managed the entire performance review cycle end to end:
Designed a clear, transparent communication plan to set expectations before reviews began.
Distributed self-assessment worksheets and guided managers through providing balanced, constructive feedback.
Consolidated evaluations and collaborated with leadership to build final performance reports.
Moderated calibration meetings where every collaborator’s performance was evaluated and discussed to ensure standards and criteria were aligned.
Partnered with Finance & Accounting team to align salary adjustments based on performance results and budget availability.
Communicated results and salary updates company-wide, ensuring consistency, empathy, and alignment with business goals.
Impact:
Improved clarity and trust in the review process for both managers and employees.
Strengthened the link between performance results and compensation decisions.
