We aimed to create a solution that caters to both, making market insights accessible, actionable, and tailored to individual trading strategies.

The founding team had thoroughly validated the product idea through an initial research phase. Building upon those insights, we brainstormed ways to make alert management intuitive, especially for users with extensive watchlists.

We brainstormed ways to make stock monitoring, analysis, and alert management intuitive, especially for users with extensive watchlists:

Customizable Alerts: Allow users to set alerts for specific stocks and alert types.

Bulk Editing: Implemented a pivot table-like interface where users can enable or disable alerts en masse.

Alert Frequency Estimator: Showed users an estimate of how many alerts they'd receive based on their settings.

After developing the initial prototype, we reached out to traders to gather feedback. Their insights were invaluable and led us to overhaul our alert system to make it more relevant and user-friendly. Based on their input, we expanded our alert types to include:

Restructured the alert feature: Mostly users found it challenging to go through our advanced alert creation feature, instead we made the alerts on default categorized for users to select between.

Positioning to focus on core values (Analytics + Alerts) instead of features (Watchlists, news feeds, ..)
