Case Study: TikiFish Farm & Smokehouse - Web Design UI
Project Overview
Client: TikiFish Farm & Smokehouse
Deliverable: Complete web design UI system
Objective: Create a modern, conversion-focused digital experience for a Nigerian aquaculture and food processing business
The Challenge
TikiFish needed a website that would bridge traditional Nigerian cuisine with modern e-commerce expectations. The challenge was to create a design that felt fresh and trustworthy while showcasing their products—smoked catfish and electric fish—in a way that would drive app downloads and online orders.
My Approach
User Experience Strategy
Clear Value Proposition: Positioned "Sand free smoked fish from Nigeria everyday" as the hero message, addressing a key customer concern (sand/grit in fish)
Multi-Platform Accessibility: Designed for seamless experience across web and mobile, with prominent app download CTAs
Social Proof Integration: Incorporated social media links (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to build credibility and community
Visual Design System
Brand Identity: Developed a cohesive color palette using fresh green accents paired with clean dark navy elements, evoking both nature and professionalism
Product Showcase: Created engaging product cards with clear nutritional information (243 kcal, 2.8g, 45.7g, 9.8g) and weight specifications
Interactive Elements: Designed intuitive navigation with shopping cart, menu, and contact sections for effortless user journeys
Content Architecture
Welcome Section: Introduced the brand story with compelling imagery of authentic Nigerian fish preparation
Designed a complete responsive UI for a fish processing brand. Created a conversion-focused system with product showcase, app CTAs & mobile-first experience.
