Our team handled the end-to-end design of this platform — from product discovery and user journey mapping to wireframes, UI/UX, branding, and interaction design.

🧠 Phase 1: Discovery & Research (Week 1–2)

Conducted stakeholder interviews with the film production team to identify pain points in script breakdown and scheduling.

Researched tools currently used by assistant directors and producers (like Movie Magic, Celtx) to map gaps.

Identified key user personas: Line Producer, AD, Script Supervisor, Production Coordinator.

🗺️ Phase 2: Strategy & Information Architecture (Week 3)

Created user journey maps and job stories based on real production workflows.

Developed task flows for core actions: uploading scripts, smart breakdowns, scheduling, and collaboration.

Outlined MVP features focused on clarity, speed, and automation.

✏️ Phase 3: Wireframes & Prototyping (Week 4–5)

Built low-fidelity wireframes to test layout and navigation logic.

Prototyped key flows using Figma for feedback: script import > breakdown > calendar > department views.

Conducted quick validation sessions with internal users (producer and AD advisors).

🎨 Phase 4: UI Design & Branding (Week 6–7)

Crafted a sleek, cinematic visual design aligned with the film industry’s aesthetic — dark-themed interface with high contrast for ease of use on-set.

Created a modular UI component system with scalability in mind.

Developed brand identity: logo, color palette, typography, and iconography inspired by creative tools and production schedules.

💡 Phase 5: Interaction & Handoff (Week 8)

Designed smooth transitions and hover effects to enhance UX clarity.

Created dev-ready assets, annotated flows, and a handoff library using Figma & Zeplin.

Collaborated with the dev team for implementation and post-design QA.

Built an intuitive platform from scratch, tailored to real film production workflows.

Helped the client raise interest from early-stage investors with a fully clickable prototype.

Currently being beta-tested by actual production teams in Mumbai and LA.
