Website Re-Design for Financial Literacy Blog Millennial in Debt + Book Launch Sales Page
Melissa JB & Shakira came back to me for a website re-design. Having worked together on their previous blog "Trials & Tresses" they were pivoting into the financial literacy space and needed a website that housed their blog, coaching and online shop
THE SOLUTION
After strategically mapping out the website flow, determining the most important areas for their site, pages that would push their services, content and merch, we landed on a website that was built to grow with them
What We Worked On:
Initial Assessment — Strategic session to determine site flow, sitemap and key areas of the website to continue to drive traffic and reader interest
Site Optimization — Removed all outdated content, archived unnecessary posts, optimized imagery and media,
Prioritized Blog — Since their previous blog was well known and loved, it was imperative to keep their content in focus while growing the brand, the blog got a refresh with streamlined layouts for content types, and a heavy focus on reader interaction
Online Store Setup — A big focus was setting up their online storefront to sell physical and digital merch. We utilized WooCommerce to create a simple easy to manage storefront, and also integrated Printful for drop-ship merch
Guided Walkthrough — Thorough walk-throughs of their website build so they were empowered on keeping their site content fresh
