Private Jets Charter Mobile App Case Study

Private jet charter booking is surprisingly outdated. Most charter companies still rely on phone calls, email chains, and brokers who take hours (or days) to confirm availability and pricing. For clients accustomed to instant everything, waiting 48 hours for a flight quote feels absurd. The few digital options that exist look like they were designed for cargo logistics, not luxury travel.

This project focused on designing a private jet charter app that delivers the booking speed of a commercial airline app with the premium experience that private aviation clients expect. The goal: book a private jet in under 2 minutes, from search to confirmation.

The design process started in Figma, where every screen was crafted to communicate luxury, speed, and trust.

Key design decisions:

Route search with instant results. Users enter departure city, destination, date, and passenger count. Results appear instantly with available aircraft, pricing, and flight time. No waiting for broker callbacks. The search experience feels as fast as booking a commercial flight.

Aircraft selection with rich detail. Each available jet is presented with interior photos, seating configuration, range, speed, amenities (WiFi, catering, entertainment), and total price. Users compare options side by side. The presentation matches the premium nature of the product.

Transparent pricing. All-inclusive pricing shown upfront: flight cost, fuel surcharges, landing fees, crew costs, and taxes. No hidden fees, no surprise invoices after landing. Price transparency builds trust in a market known for opaque pricing.

One-tap booking confirmation. Saved passenger profiles, payment methods, and travel preferences enable repeat bookings in seconds. First-time users complete a streamlined onboarding that captures essential details once and reuses them for every future booking.

Flight tracking. Real-time aircraft position, estimated arrival time, weather conditions, and FBO (fixed-base operator) details for pickup and drop-off. Users share flight status with assistants or family with a single link.

Concierge services. In-app requests for ground transportation, catering preferences, special accommodations, and destination services. The app extends the luxury experience beyond the flight itself.

Dark, premium visual design. Black and gold color palette with high-contrast typography and full-bleed aircraft photography. The design language signals exclusivity and sophistication. Every pixel communicates that this is not a budget travel app.
