Overview
As a UX/UI Microcopy Specialist for Dapper Care, a telehealth company currently in beta, I focused on developing clear and engaging microcopy to enhance user experience and streamline communication. The aim was to ensure that users felt comfortable and informed while navigating the platform.
Objectives
Create user-friendly microcopy that simplifies the telehealth experience.
Foster trust and clarity throughout the user journey.
Support the onboarding process and improve overall engagement.
Approach
User Research and Insights I conducted interviews and surveys with beta users to identify pain points and areas of confusion. This research highlighted the need for approachable language and supportive messaging.
Microcopy Development I concentrated on key areas of the platform, including:
Onboarding Instructions: Developed straightforward and encouraging instructions that guided users through the sign-up process, ensuring they understood each step.
Service Descriptions: Created clear explanations of telehealth services, using relatable language to help users feel informed and empowered about their health choices.
Error Messages and Alerts: Designed friendly and constructive error messages that guided users toward solutions, reducing frustration and promoting a positive experience.
Collaboration with Design Team I collaborated closely with designers to ensure that the microcopy complemented the platform’s visual elements, maintaining a cohesive and user-friendly interface.
User Testing and Iteration Implemented feedback sessions with beta users to test microcopy effectiveness. Based on their responses, I refined the language and approach to better meet user needs.
