One notable achievement was authoring a multimillion-dollar grant proposal aimed at converting an analog studio to digital. Additionally, I contributed to the EMMY Award-winning documentary series, The Perilous Fight: America’s World War II in Color, by researching and logging rare footage and serving as a Script Coordinator.
Objectives
Secure funding for the transition from analog to digital broadcasting.
Enhance the historical accuracy and visual storytelling of The Perilous Fight series.
Streamline script preparation for narration, ensuring clarity and cohesion.
Approach

Assessing the current capabilities of the analog studio and identifying the technological advancements possible through digital conversion.
Detailing projected outcomes, including improved production quality and increased viewer engagement.
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather necessary data and testimonials that strengthened the proposal’s impact.
Research for The Perilous Fight As a researcher for the documentary series, I was tasked with locating and logging rare color footage of American military forces from the 1920s to the 1940s. My approach included:
Proficiently utilizing a range of resources, including the Library of Congress and declassified military archives.
Analyzing personal family letters, photos, and films to uncover unique narratives and perspectives.
Systematically cataloging the footage to ensure seamless integration into the documentary.
Script Coordination In my role as Script Coordinator for The West Wing star Martin Sheen, I focused on preparing narration scripts that enhanced the storytelling experience. This involved:
Collaborating with producers and directors to understand the vision and tone of the project.
Ensuring scripts were clear, engaging, and aligned with the historical content and narrative structure.
Managing feedback loops to refine and finalize scripts prior to recording.
