PC Hilfe Zürichsee & Oberland: local computer help, built to show up in every town it serves.
A German-language WordPress website for PC Hilfe Zürichsee & Oberland, a computer repair and support service based in Rapperswil. It helps private customers and small businesses around Lake Zurich and the Zurich Oberland with PC support and repairs, MacBook battery and display replacements, and everyday computer problems, either on site or by remote support. The site has two jobs: help someone with a broken computer find the right service quickly, and make sure the business appears when people in each town search for help.
WHAT WAS BUILT
Homepage that opens with the customer's problem, followed by a service overview, a "which service do I need?" guide, a four-step process and FAQs
Eight core services, grouped into a three-part menu: PC, MacBook and Computer
More than 250 local landing pages, one for each service in each town
Price list covering laptops, PCs, MacBooks, iMacs, Surface and tablets, plus general services
Contact page with a detailed repair request form, opening hours and emergency rates
Blog with repair and troubleshooting guides
Global header with a "Jetzt anrufen" (call now) button, and a footer with service links, legal pages, remote support and FAQ

Tech Review
I built the site in WordPress with Elementor and ACF Pro, and Yoast SEO handles the search setup. The header and footer are built once as Elementor templates and shared across every page.
Key build highlights:
Local landing pages at scale. Every service has its own set of town pages, such as PC Reparatur in Rapperswil, PC Hilfe in Wetzikon and Computer Hilfe in Zollikon. There are more than 250 in total, covering towns around Lake Zurich and the Zurich Oberland. Someone searching for help in their own town lands on a page written for that service and that place.
Structured content with ACF Pro. Each service's town pages are stored as their own content type, structured with ACF Pro. One service's pages can be updated or extended without touching the others, and each set gets its own XML sitemap through Yoast.
One structure for every town page. Each page follows the same sequence:
a headline naming the service and the town
reasons to choose the business
a detailed list of services
how the process works
local FAQs
a closing call to action with call and email buttons
Each page has its own title and meta description, which include the phone number, so the page reads clearly in search results.
A homepage that starts with the problem. The hero opens with what the customer is dealing with: a slow computer, one that won't start, a MacBook showing stripes. A "which service fits?" section lists typical situations for each service, so visitors can choose between PC-Hilfe and PC-Reparatur without knowing the difference.
Transparent pricing. A full price list in CHF covers six device categories. It includes diagnostics, screen replacements, data recovery, operating system reinstalls, hourly rates for on-site and remote support, and travel costs. Customers know roughly what a repair will cost before they call.
A repair form that does the triage. The contact form asks for:
device type, model, and serial number
whether the screen is a touchscreen
an urgency level, with turnaround times from standard (7 days) to same-day emergency
photos or videos of the problem, as uploads
A captcha keeps out spam. Every request arrives with what's needed to give a quote.
Easy to reach by phone. The "Jetzt anrufen" button sits in the header, and every town page ends with call and email buttons. On a phone, help is one tap away.
Guides that answer real questions. Blog posts cover common problems, such as a PC that won't start, Windows 10 and 11 help, and when a MacBook battery or display needs replacing. They support the service pages with genuinely useful content.
Stack: WordPress · Elementor · ACF Pro · Yoast SEO · Custom post types
"The result is a local service website that works like a good technician: it listens to the problem first, explains the fix and the price, and is easy to reach in every town it covers."
