Role: Framer Developer Services: Template Customisation, Layout Restructuring, Responsive Development

Client wanted a subtle restructure of Monica Elis template, the template already had a set of amazing interactions in place, but the goal was to reimagine it into a cleaner, more structured, and more modern version according to client's requirements.

The redesign brief was clear: implement new design changes while keeping the site minimal, functional, and easy to navigate. It wasn’t about reinventing the entire site, it was about refining what was already there, adding the right sections, and polishing the experience. (Designs were provided)

I started by working directly with the provided design changes, focusing on building them cleanly inside Framer while ensuring everything stayed responsive and smooth.

The main improvements included:

Clean Header – streamlined navigation with social buttons (LinkedIn + real-time clock), giving the top of the site personality while keeping it minimal.

Hero Video Banner – a bold hero section with a video background and overlapping transition into the next section.

Projects Section – moved just below the header for stronger visibility, designed with clean spacing and layout balance.

Floating Navigation – restructured navigation that feels lighter and more intuitive, with a smooth contact interaction.

Contact Overlay – a modern contact form opening seamlessly from the nav.

New Footer – restructured with proper links, clean design, and a minimal aesthetic consistent with the rest of the site.

Responsive Development – tested and adjusted layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile to ensure visual consistency.

The site flows more naturally now: a video-led hero makes the first impression strong, the projects section follows immediately to establish credibility, and the floating navigation keeps users anchored throughout. The footer ties it all together with a neat, functional layout.

Every detail from the micro-interactions in the contact form to the spacing in the projects section was implemented with precision in Framer, keeping the overall look minimal and cohesive.

The customised Monica Elis template turned into a subtle redesign with a big impact sharper structure, smoother transitions, and a more polished user experience.

The website now feels professional, minimal, and aligned with modern design standards, all while staying true to the original template foundation.
