BRAND STRATEGY

Rather than follow the conventions of traditional cleaners (both within our category and elsewhere) we opted for a direction that aligned more closely to the lane carved by brands in our ecosphere that we admired and wanted to be associated with.

It was essential to our success, to do more than a surface level emulation. We looked more broadly across the landscape of pop culture for historical references that could help us understand the narrative core of this direction.  

Which led us to vintage gaming, and technology and software, and where that sensibility overlapped with streetwear.

This became the foundation for our naming and position strategy.
