Commence Games is building a catalyst for change in political discourse, globally. We increase political knowledge and activate engagement using our interactive game-based approach. We make politics fun and accessible - one tool at a time.

As an oxymoron of a business Commence Games the challenge was to develop a brand, that was fun, and serious, approachable yet non-biased. Building recognition and expertise around politics and the gamification of it as a tool for active citizenship and engagement.

This business is a non-partisan entity functioning in both the online and offline realms.

So I rolled up my sleeves and got to building the brand step by step...

Starting with the glitch. Recreating the glitch seen on people's faces every time the words “we make games about politics” were uttered by the founder. The confused look they got every time is what anchors the brand.

We've developed the brand's products and packaging on eco-responsible principles. Repurposed materials in every product and delivery.
