QwietAI Application Security UI Redesign

When I joined the project at Good Code, QwietAI was preparing to evolve its preZero application security testing platform into something more intuitive and scalable. Their technology — powered by an AI-driven Code Property Graph and advanced threat detection models — was groundbreaking but visually complex.

The existing interface struggled to communicate that sophistication without overwhelming users. Analysts found it difficult to interpret results quickly, and the UI lacked a clear hierarchy that aligned with how security professionals actually think and prioritize threats. The challenge was to translate deep technical insight into an experience that felt fast, intelligent, and confident.

I led the redesign of QwietAI’s user interface, rethinking both interaction patterns and visual hierarchy from the ground up. My approach focused on simplifying cognitive load through clear navigation, modular layouts, and visual language that matched the urgency and focus of security workflows.

Using color psychology, structured depth, and refined typography, I built a design system that balanced precision with accessibility. I worked closely with QwietAI’s team to ensure the interface highlighted their core differentiators — speed, accuracy, and a low false positive rate — while creating a look and feel that reinforced trust and technical sophistication.

The result was a cohesive, production-ready platform that gave QwietAI’s users the clarity and confidence to navigate complex data with ease — turning a powerful product into an experience that felt seamless, fast, and intelligently designed.

The redesigned interface significantly improved usability and comprehension, reducing cognitive load and helping analysts identify critical threats faster. Stakeholder feedback described the new platform as “a major step forward in visual clarity and workflow efficiency.”
