Billables AI: Framer Site and the Deck Behind a $10.2M Series A

Billables AI builds automated time tracking for law firms. They had no in-house design team while the product changed weekly and a fundraise was coming. I became that team from October 2025: weekly Framer site work with no backlog, a homepage redesign, then the pitch deck for the raise.

The problem

Three things at once and nobody to design them: a website that had to keep pace with a product shipping weekly, a Series A deck that had to hold up against the hundreds investors see each quarter, and an announcement people would actually stop and watch. Hiring a team was slow. Three separate freelancers would have meant three visual languages on the most important materials the company had ever made.

What I did

Started with the site in October 2025. Weekly batches, one call, one Slack channel: new pages, technical cleanup, and a homepage redesign I did over a weekend and brought to the next call unprompted, now rolling out page by page.
When the raise came, I designed the deck they pitched with. Because I already knew the product and the brand, the deck needed no ramp-up and spoke the same visual language as the site. When the round closed, I produced the animated announcement video.

The result

$10.2M Series A closed in June 2026, led by Avenue Growth Partners, pitched with a deck I designed. The announcement video went live on billables.ai and LinkedIn the day the round was announced. The site has kept evolving every week since October 2025 with no in-house designer, and Billables was named Legal Tech Company of the Year 2026 at Legalweek.
