Loopix, before and now: a refurbished tech store redesign

Year: 2023 launch, redesign in summer 2026

Where it started

Leasetic founded Loopix in 2022 to answer one question: where do our refurbished devices go next? The first version, launched in 2023 after a six month project, sold refurbished equipment to the employees of Leasetic's partner companies. I ran the market study, the store design with the technical team, the launch campaign (email, ads and events) and the logistics for orders, shipping and returns.
That store did its job, but it was built for a small catalogue: one page per model with grade and storage as buttons, a long FAQ tucked in a product tab, and little to help a visitor browse.

How we ran the redesign

We ran the redesign in summer 2026. Rather than build a theme from scratch, I chose a Shopify template whose structure already matched the group design system shared by Leasetic, Colibris and Seensys, then adapted it to the Loopix brand. Starting from a close match let us implement the whole change quickly and keep Loopix visually in the same family as the rest of the group.

What changed

Product pages. Colour, storage and appearance grade (A Excellent, B Good, C Fair) became proper variants, with live stock, a three image gallery and recommended products. The grade sits next to the price, where the decision is made.
Home page. The store now opens on one clear promise, "Experts en technologie reconditionnée", then routes visitors straight into collections (smartphones, computers, tablets, accessories) and a bestseller rail filtered by in stock, new and on sale.
Catalogue. Each collection has its own banner, filters and sorting, which matters now that smartphones alone count 73 models.
Mobile first. Phones are the heart of the catalogue, so every page was designed for a 390 px screen first: a full screen hero, swipeable collections, a sticky filter button and a product page that reads top to bottom.
Reassurance up front. Delivery, refund guarantee and free 30 day returns moved from a product tab to the home page, each linked to its policy.

Outcome

Loopix now works as a public store as well as a partner benefit: three languages (French, Spanish, English), eight European countries in euros, eleven payment methods, a blog on refurbished tech, and a dedicated 5% offer for French Tech Toulouse members.

I launched Loopix in 2023, then redesigned it in summer 2026 into a mobile first Shopify store with graded variants, 73 smartphones and three languages.
