Application Design: ChillChery, helping young kids with anxiety

Mina Shahyarasr

Objective

As an academic project, I created this UX/UI prototype. The design requirement was an application to help with anxiety in children between the ages of 2 to 6.
I named my application ChillCherry. The idea is to provide content as audio tracks to soothe the tension build-up during the day and help the kids relax. It also contains educational materials for the parents.
For the visual and identity design, I chose colors that appeal to the joyful nature of the children, using a fusion of pastel colors to make it calm rather than tense.
The content is divided into 6 categories music, sounds, stories, story series, and meditation and I gave each category its specific color. I used illustrations for each content and added animation to a playing track to keep the children interested and engaged. There is also a page for favorite tracks and a page with the option to make your desired playlists. For the parents, I decided to make a private section that requires them to enter an additional password.
