Challange:

DigiBuild is an innovative startup with a young blockchain-supportive CEO. They have unicorn products with exceptional investment potential—a blockchain-powered SaaS for construction companies—designed for builders by builders.
Unfortunately, leadership hired the wrong type of social media marketing freelancer in the first year, which did not support business objectives or provide ROI on social media efforts.
They needed a marketing director to support the CMO's social marketing objectives and turn around the company's dropping ROI while generating greater investment potential.
Marketing Challenges:
Previous marketing freelancers delivered poor content that was misaligned with DigiBuild's target market leading to potential audience confusion about the DigiBuild products.
The CEO's "personal brand" risks the company's reputation if not paired with a strong company brand on social media to balance public opinion.
CEO's innovative ideas and leadership empowered thousands of fans but didn't effectively promote his company's offerings.
Social Media tactics were D2C instead of B2B, causing less investor and customer awareness and leading to a lower operating budget.

Process:

What I do for DigiBuild:
Creating, planning, and implementing social media campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
Monitoring activity and removing any activity that could harm the brand's reputation or cause confusion among customers
Determining which social media platforms will be most effective for reaching the target audience for a campaign
Oversee social post creation about topics relevant to the company's industry or products
Working with designers to create graphics for use on social media channels
Creating profiles on social media sites such as LinkedIn and Twitter, where appropriate
Coordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure that the company messaging is consistent across all channels
Coordinating with CMO, content director, or influencers to collaborate on social media campaigns
Creating content calendars to help plan which posts will be published when and what type of content will be posted on each channel

During DigiBuild's seed round investment campaign on LinkedIn:
Search appearance on LinkedIn increased by 61%
Unique Vistors increased by 320%
Website Clicks increased by 1250%
Interactions increased by 129%
Followers increased by 479% (over 50% of followers and visitors now represent the target demographic)
6-month LinkedIn lookback results revealed the following:
170% increase in clicks to the website
145% increase in followers
189% increase in interaction rate
