Project Overview

When I worked as a Graphic Designer for Topic Flip LLC, I was tasked to create a new identity for their latest venture, Lead Flip. This was a bold step away from their usual SEO and Web Design services, diving into the world of SaaS with a tool designed to simplify marketing for small businesses.

Challenges

The primary challenge that I undertook was to make Lead Flip feel like it was still aligned with Topic Flip’s visual identity but also strong enough to stand on its own. The brand needed to embody simplicity and clarity in its identity system.

Creative Development

I then focused on our overarching idea of Lead Flip’s mission to make marketing easy, almost like it's on autopilot for businesses. Inspired by the concept of automation and streamlined email and SMS marketing campaigns, the theme for the brand’s visual identity needed to encapsulate growth and efficiency. 
To forge this message on their logo, we came up with an idea that turned the letter "A" in "Lead Flip" into an up arrow.

Solutions

Staying true to Topic Flip's currency identity system, we used the current brand colors, to create a visual link between the two entities. 
The logo and all branding materials were crafted to echo the core themes of automation and growth but with a focus on simplicity and recognizability. This was particularly important for smaller applications, like the website's favicon, where the design needed to stand out in a tiny space.

Results

The culmination of this visual identity project was to make sure that both in message and design, Lead Flip is not only identifiable as part of Topic Flip but also strong enough to stand on its own. 
We did this by finding the sweet spot between connection and autonomy, positioning it as the go-to solution for automated marketing in its targeted niches. 
This journey wasn't just about creating a logo or choosing colors; it was about telling a visual narrative of growth, simplicity, and the seamless integration of technology into marketing, all through the lens of design.
