Seattle Humane is a not-for-profit animal welfare organization serving the people and animals of King County, Washington state, USA. I had the opportunity to work as the shelter's Marketing and Communications Associate for two incredible years from 2017-2019.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Created daily social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Wrote copy for website, blogs, and weekly radio ads
Appeared as a weekly spokesperson for Seattle Humane on Q13 Fox News. I also represented the organization on Komo 4 News, King 5 News, and Kiro Radio, discussing adoption, promotions, events, and shelter services
Doubled Seattle Humane’s Instagram following from 12k+ to 24k+
Supported crisis communications during national weather emergencies
