WordPress to Kajabi Migration for a Christian Publishing Company

From a Very Slow WordPress Site to a More Stable Kajabi Home for Multi-Course Discipleship Products

The Story

Iron Stream Network is a Christian publishing company with multiple discipleship projects that needed a better digital home.
After a major business transition, John was left with valuable course and study content still living on an old WordPress site that had become extremely slow and difficult to maintain. The content itself was strong, but the platform experience was not.
He needed a cleaner, more stable setup that would allow him to move key discipleship resources into Kajabi without dragging along unnecessary clutter from the old site.
That’s where I came in.

The Strategy: Simplify the Migration and Focus on What Matters

This was not a “move everything exactly as-is” project.
We focused on building a smarter Kajabi foundation by:
Migrating the D-Life Online discipleship products first
Leaving behind old blog content that did not need to come over
Creating a simpler site structure with the most important pages and offers
Moving checkout into Kajabi for a cleaner customer journey
Adding a request-a-sample funnel so leads could preview the material before buying
The goal was to make the new setup easier to use for both the customer and the business owner.

The Build: Multi-Course Kajabi Migration

I migrated and set up the core D-Life Online experience in Kajabi, including:
Home page
Library page
Login page
D-Life offer page
Request-a-sample funnel
10 custom-coded Kajabi offers + checkout flows
The course migration included several digital products:
New Testament 1
New Testament 2
Old Testament 1
Old Testament 2
Of these four products, we migrated 2.5 of them, plus the additional items in this case study, in only two days!
Each product included structured lesson content, printable resources, and journal access, all organized for a clearer student experience within Kajabi.
I also set up:
Preview offer + automation
Main offer + confirmation email
Confirmation pages
Tagging and access flow
Sample request form to grant preview access automatically

The Result: A Better Foundation for Digital Discipleship Products

Iron Stream Network now has a more stable Kajabi-based home for D-Life Online and a clearer path for how customers discover, preview, purchase, and access the content.
Instead of depending on a very slow WordPress setup, the business now has:
A stronger platform for course delivery
A simplified site structure
Kajabi-based checkout and product access
A preview funnel that supports trust before purchase
This project created a much better starting point for future growth and ongoing product delivery.
