Tracklio - Product Design (Admin Web App)

The Tracklio admin dashboard was designed as a powerful back-office tool to simplify how parking tickets (PCNs) are managed at scale. The primary goal was to provide administrators with an intuitive interface that balances data visibility, control, and efficiency. The design centers on clear data hierarchies—making it easy for admins to track user activities, monitor issued tickets, process payments, and resolve disputes without overwhelming complexity. By incorporating role-based access, smart filtering, and responsive layouts, the admin system ensures that both small support teams and large operations can work seamlessly.
From a design perspective, the challenge was to translate a typically complex, regulation-heavy process into a streamlined digital experience. This was achieved through consistent use of visual patterns, clean typography, and minimal but purposeful use of color to highlight priority actions. The result is an admin tool that doesn’t just manage data but empowers decision-making—turning Tracklio into more than a ticketing system, but a reliable ecosystem for motorists and administrators alike.

The admin dashboard was designed to give Tracklio’s internal team complete visibility and control over the system. The layout provides a clean, data-driven view of key metrics such as total users, registered vehicles, newly issued tickets, and active subscription plans. Admins can also monitor sync logs in real time, making it easy to identify and resolve integration issues with councils or third-party data providers.

The Users & Vehicles module allows admins to view, search, and manage individual accounts. Admins can see detailed information about each user, their registered vehicles, and associated ticket history.
Quick actions such as suspending or reactivating users, flagging problematic vehicles, or sending direct notifications help ensure smooth account management.

The Tickets module presents a searchable and filterable table of all PCNs across the platform. Admins can filter by vehicle registration, user, issue date, or ticket status.
The admins can retry failed syncs, review ticket source data, and ensure accuracy of logs, ensuring that no ticket slips through the cracks.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions
The Subscriptions module was added in the latest iteration to give admins control over Tracklio’s configurable plans. Here, admins can edit plan names, pricing tiers, and benefits (such as number of vehicles allowed, notification types, and MOT reminders).
They can also create custom enterprise offers for B2B clients and monitor usage analytics to identify upsell opportunities.

The Revenue dashboard in Tracklio’s admin web app gives administrators a complete view of the platform’s finances at a glance. It breaks down total, subscriber, and ad revenues with growth indicators, supported by a weekly revenue graph for trend analysis.
Admins can also drill into a detailed payment history table to track individual transactions, monitor plan usage, and resolve failed or refunded payments. With a configurable Plans & Pricing section, they can easily update tiers, pricing, and benefits, ensuring flexibility in monetization and scalability for both individuals and enterprise clients.
Settings
Settings
The Settings-Notifications panel enables admins to send system-wide messages, whether to all users or specific groups. With support for both email and SMS channels and in app notification, this screen also tracks delivery success rates, helping Tracklio maintain strong communication with motorists.
The Settings & Activity section offers fine-grained control. Admins can manage API keys, notification settings, and user role permissions. An activity log ensures accountability by recording all admin actions such as logins, plan updates, and critical system changes.
